The Primary Health Care Philosophy is implemented in the provision of services, and in care to individual clients and to the Aboriginal Community. Programs are implemented to build whole of community capacity to maintain and improve health and well being. This also includes supporting training and development of community members to further build capacity in our community.
Nunyara delivers evidence-based and best practice comprehensive primary health care to the Aboriginal community and these services include:

GP consultations 5 days a week
Health assessments
Chronic conditions management
Child and maternal health care
Immunisations
Obstetric antenatal and postnatal care
Tackling smoking
Grief and loss counselling
Allied health services (visiting providers): Optometrist, Dietician, Audiologist, Respiratory Nurse, ENT Surgeon, Endocrinologist, Midwife, Diabetic Educator,Podiatrist.

Nunyara is an Aboriginal Medical Centre established in 2002 to promote health and wellbeing among the Aboriginal Community in Whyalla through primary health care services and various programs.
Nunyara provides culturally appropriate primary health care, health promotion programs, visiting specialists, community programs, and NDIS support.
